LAPPING RINGS
for free-standing dicing blade flanges

Made of durable fine-grained ceramic material, Semicon Tools' flange lapping rings make simple work of keeping your blade flanges free of nicks and burrs.

The lapping procedure: Hold the lapping ring and flange (flat surface of flange against ring) together with fingertips and move flange in circular motion with thumbs. Do this under running water to keep lapping surface from loading. Wear rubber gloves to avoid contamination. The efficiency of the ceramic lapping media will remove nicks or burrs quickly so check flange surface after approximately 15 to 20 seconds of the lapping motion.
