SEMICON TOOLS' dedication to quality and durability in its products is, again, apparent in our manufacturing of SynthrodesTM (Synthrodes are synthetic diamond tipped bonding tools used in the tape automated bonding (TAB) process.) SEMICON TOOLS' Synthrodes also provide the unique characteristic of maximum heat transfer to the film frame tabs, with minimal heat transfer to the die.
A longer lasting Synthrode is just another way SEMICON TOOLS saves you time and money.
All Synthrodes are made-to-order and feature a diamond holding tungsten matrix fused to an inconel shaft. Tip sizes are available from .050 in. up to .500 in. (larger sizes are available upon special order.)
Pricing is very competitive eith BEO Tools for ILB and OLB bonding. The less down time and easy cleaning of the bonding table will allow you to increase yields. Most Synthrodes can be reworked to their original condition and/or to new table sizes at about 50 to 75% of the original cost.
