(Thermodes are diamond tipped bonding tools used in tape automated bonding (TAB) process.) By using natural gem quality diamonds...the best material known to man for its long durable life...SEMICON TOOLS' Thermodes also provide the unique characteristics of maximum heat transfer to the film frame tabs, with minimal heat transfer to the die. A longer lasting Thermode is, yet another way SEMICON TOOLS saves you time and money.

All Thermodes are made-to-order and feature a diamond holding tungsten matrix fused to an inconel shaft. Tip sizes are available from .006in. up tp 150in. (larger sizes are supplied as Synthrodes.)
